Well here it is DEC 4th, we are packed and ready to go. Will be meeting Doug at Vancouver airport, he is coming to Nanaimo with us. Well that’s it till we get setup on the Island!

DEC 4th: Well I am typing this somewhere over Lake Superior. I think I was able to see either the Racco air force base or the airport in Sault Canada. I will need a map to determine where we were. Nadine is bundled up beside me, half awake, half asleep. She enjoyed the take off. I tried to get her to lean forward on take off, she had a hard time doing that, had to use her hands. Doug is on his way to Vancouver to meet us, he said the weather looked good there and does not expect any problems driving.

DEC 4th: Well Doug was a bit late, surprise,l ol. We still got the 5:00 clock ferry. The ride was a bit rough but manageable.

DEC 5th: Happy anniversary to my lovely wife, Lorraine!

DEC 5th: Well Doug and I went to Campbell River, him to see a friend he worked with and me to see a family friend. I went to Mt. Washington and was in a fairly good snow storm, can you say blizzard, lol.

DEC 5th: Going to lay low today, Mom is making Christmas dinner for Sunday, mmmmm.

DEC 6th: Went to the Cassidy Airport, the Bungee jump and fish hatchery. We then visited Donny and Bonnie.

DEC 7th: Had Christmas dinner and ate like pigs, lol. Met all the local people.

DEC 8th: Went to Victoria to the museum and other points of interest. Seen some Eagles today.

DEC 9th: Went around town to see the local sites!

DEC 10th: Just hung around house, went and got a couple of DVD’s and visited with my cousin.

DEC 11th: Went and visited my relatives today, drove around looking at Christmas lights.

DEC 12th: Went to Victoria to visit an acquaintance, took Nadine as a chaperone, lol.

DEC 13th: Went to Whiskey river in AM and got ice-cream cones. Went to Uncle Don’s for steak dinner, free steak dinner, mmm. Had a very good dinner, steak and salads, baked potatoes, the whole nine yards!

DEC 14th: Booked the family to come back in Feb! Went to Whiskey River for a huge ice-cream cone and also went to Port Alberni and visited Wes and Carol.

DEC 15th: Went to golf course to celebrate Don’s birthday.

DEC 16th: Packing day, last minute stuff.

DEC 17th: Today is a good day to fly!
